Leona by miles for sure, even though I was very annoyed with the Mariah comparisons back in the day, and people are saying she's going to replace her. Cause remember this was the time when EMC2 was flopping and Mariah's career went quiet for a while after the marriage with Nick, so the public thought she was done for.

Her only weakness is a sloppy low register, which sometimes her vibrato kinda wobbles, but for the most part her mix and upper range is great. She's got great control on her mix. That's what makes her stand out from the rest. I'm not sure about her whistle register though, she has super head register which is not really whistle.

Jessie J is great with vocal acrobats. She's got agility.



Demi is great too, she just lacks control. Sometimes she strains too much and she tries to make her voice larger than what it is originally. She's got a very light nasally tone.

Brandy and Leona are objectively and clearly the superior two of these four options. I voted for Leona because I knew she'd be trailing Brandy.

A few years ago I would have said Leona, but her vocals don't seem as strong now, probably Jessie J.

Brandy has a Incredibly solid technique, an impressive range with a gorgeous lower extension..not only that her voice itself is incredibly exotic voice type..she's a dugazon or (light contralto) ..with soo much control and finesse over her range.. Her vocal nauces and over musicianship is ABOVE Beyonce, objectively.. She's incredibly smart musically.. It's hard to explain actually. Think of the finest bass clarinet player in the world and envision Brandy!!

Musically I think Brandy is above Beyonce .. Bey jus showcases a more developed technical Arsenal ..and great versatility
When it comes to musical ideas, resolves, note placement, phrasing.. Brandy is a lot more thrilling to listen to
..imo I prefer Brandy's ornamentations and overall arrangements, despite her having a smaller instrument
