Conscription seems a little disproportionate a punishment for the unemployed. It does not seem right to tell the unemployed to fight in the army.
Also, I can definitely appreciate capital punishment as a deterrent, but it's barbaric. We have come a long way, and we are not going to regress to beheading again. You should focus on rehabilitation more than anything.
And the third point is that there are ignorant people everywhere. We are all ignorant about something. To impose some sort of geniocracy where only the smart govern is preferring potential intelligence over actual and practical intelligence which is hard to define with an IQ score. But I do think the smart should be preferred to run a country or make decisions over the rich.
Thanks for your reply! I see where you're coming from. I just do not agree

Like I said it doesn't have to be combat. There are plenty of positions in the military that involves other activities. For instance being a fitness trainer. If I was Prime Minister I would funnel both unemployed and fat people into the military. It's like killing two birds with one stone. Not only do you reduce unemployment and lower tax rates, you also tackle the fat epidemic straight on by forcing fat people to participate in a fat camp. We've had enough of lazy people complaining about not finding work and draining our public services. Radical times calls for radical measures
Again rehabilitation have low rates of success. My aunt was actually murdered by a criminal who was supposedly rehabilitated and then let out. It costs too much anyway, we should be focusing on raising mental health awareness from early on so people do not turn out that way.
Well I guess we disagree. I don't really have confidence in Stella, who has 2 GCSEs and an STI with 6 babies, to put much of a thought process into their vote. Just look at the reasons people voted for BREXIT. We need to understand it's better off having intelligent/educated people to take care of our country which covers democracy.
The human rights act needs to be reformed and harsher terms need to be established. We've grown soft as a nation. I think the secret forces do it best. There was a recent article of the secret police force shoving a burrito up a terrorists' ass. I mean it's obvious our governments subvert human rights in private so why not just make it public already?
