Apple is just greedy and misleading people into paying more money to them. You download the app once and that's it, no more interaction with their ecosystem. And they want $3 a month for that. Pure fraud.

The difference being that iOS / App Store is an enclosed ecosystem privatized on a singular device. Windows Phone and Android are on multiple different flagship phones and operating systems.
Plus the problem I have with this whole "fraud / Apple is greedy" argument is that people literally don't realize there's plenty of ecosystems out there that fit their needs instead of giving their money to Apple. Amazon MP3s are an alternative to iTunes for example. I use that when I need a readily converted format that works with either Android or Apple device. Trying to say Apple is greedy is really a faulty logic when their whole premise is to profit off their solid system (which I don't really fault for since I tend to mix and match their system with others like Amazon MP3s).
There's really nothing illegal or fraud about them having an established controlled system that doesn't deal with as many problems as with an open source operating system like Android (let's face it, it being so widespread and available on alternative flagship phones gives it a bigger target for malicious software). Plus they're providing one of the biggest ecosytems around and letting your competition profit off it for free is absurd.
