My favorite anime I even did a little fanart of it back in the day. Ugh Queen Luciela never got the screen-time she deserved. I'm so sad the manga ended but it had a really great conclusion.

Hated the way the manga ended. But it was great up till that point. And was a cool anime.

I don't think there ever was a plan to make the second season. I read somewhere the author said they used the anime to promote the manga.
