One of the reasons I've stanned Sansa from ASoIaF (the book Sansa; not Sharon, the watered down awful show version

) so hard and (used to) defend her so much from neckbeard haters is because I connect with her.
Both of us grew up entitled and spoiled, obsessed with stories and with a fantasy-like view of the world, thinking everything is perfect. She's very easily manipulated, and would follow what anyone says if they said it nicely and with the best intentions, like me. My dad wasn't killed in front of me or anything, but we both learned the hard way of how rough life can be and weren't prepared for it. Also, like her, I usually deal with my problems by avoiding them and blocking them out of memory while pretending everything is fine. I'm also very passive and shy, like her, and usually try not to stick my toe into anything or let others know my opinions.
Ugh she's such a good, realistic character. I fume @ what the series has become.
