Probably Adele. The ability to take long breaks to live a normal life, yet come back to the industry with the sales and acclaim is something that sounds like heaven to me.

Lady Gaga. The industty is completely different for someone like Gaga than it would be for someone like Ariana or Britney. There are less people I'm sure that can exploit her and milk her for money because she IS the artist. She writes the songs and has the CHOPS to sing them live. She also has a lot of personal power through her activism and political endeavours through her art and in real life activism. She also has more loyal fans because she really has been at one point or another like a lifeline for a lot of us. REAL impact! That's why she gets to call the shots and everyone else just sits back and waits to be slayed.

She also leads an ACTUALLY fulfilling life, is in a loving stable relationship, has cute dogs, and more money than 98% of the other gurls

huge global success
a devoted stan base
talent


So I'll have to go with Lady Gaga

But there are other artists who have the same. What makes you prefer Gaga over Bey, Pink, Britney or Rih? Or also Adele?

I'd say Gaga is on of the most talented pop girls!

Justin Vernon is my pick, he is so talented, isn't a celeb but still can live from his music. And I love his art so much, I wish I was him. Being able to live your life without being bothered by medias and fans and still sell you material would be perfect to me.

OT: Out of these choices, Pink, Adele, Taylor and Beyonce have the most enviable careers because of how free, successful and talented they are.I love Taylor's artistic journey but she's too exposed, I know she doesn't mind and even like it, but I couldn't deal with it. I hate the harassment that comes with being mainstream. I have to say that Beyonce's longevity and growth is admirable to me plus she is huge but is able to keep everything secret, we never know anything about her unless she decides it.. She is one of the biggest celeb but we barely know anything about her private life how comes? She is in the industry since she was a teenager and didn't do anything crazy yet, no(public)breakdown, no sloppy or exposed relationships.. I sometimes wonder how she does to make sure her secrets stay secret? When it comes to her I mostly see speculatons, I like that mystic about her.

I have no musical talent whatsoever so there would more chance for me of being a label puppet and a pretty face.

Beyoncé hands down. She may not have sold the most records but she's definitely top 5. She's only 35 and she's a legend. She has had longevity, hits, touring and album success, among plenty of things outside of her music career (i.e. movies, fragrance, fashion ICON and etc.). On top of that she's respected globally in a way I've never witnessed anyone else be in my (albeit short) lifetime. She can disappear from the public for months and return and literally make headlines for sneezing.

Adele. Well respected, great vocals, best selling album now and most importantly be able to live a normal life despite the fame.

Taylor. Talented, powerful rich, kind, & intelligent
