Katy Perry and boyfriend Orlando Bloom recently went on a "romantic dinner" date at the Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar in West Hollywood, an eyewitness told E! News exclusively. During their night out, there happened to be a familiar-looking patron at the venue—that would John Mayer, the singer's ex.
Perry, 31, and Mayer, 38, chatted together—and Bloom did not seem to mind, E! News has learned.
The hotel is located in an area full of clubs and restaurants where Mayer has been spotted out many times. A day earlier, he hung out at the Comedy Store comedy club, located just down the street.
Mayer, who has also dated stars such as Taylor Swift , Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Love Hewitt, had said on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live last week that he is "single" and "excited about the future."
