Couldn't they join forces with the white LGBTs instead yet highlighting the Black LGBT minorities instead of crashing in, ruining the purpose of the protest, and being the center of attention for the wrong reason? Crashing to make their voices to be heard isn't really helping and it's making them look worse and hated. The media is going to have a field trip on it.

I think therein lies the problem though. A lot of white gays don't WANT to join forces with lgbt poc. The same people who shout "no rice, no spice, no chocolate" and call it "preference, not racism" are the ones sitting in the majority. Why would they want to highlight poc LGBTs, especially black ones at that?

And I mean, POC are not really represented in the LGBT community. This is a fact and never ever discussed. Obviously drastic things need to be done, because I feel that otherwise the bigots in our own community (and there are a lot) are not even listening anymore.

Agree 100%. You can see this mindset in this very thread.
I think we can mostly agree that BLM went over the top here. But why does that suddenly give you all free reign to undermine their cause? Some of you will NEVER admit that what they're protesting is even a problem because all you see is "black people disrupting our fun to whine about their rights again", "black people crying out for attention again", "black people whining about racism in the lgbt community but they all hate lgbt people", etc.
Allow yourselves to indulge in some critical thinking for once. These situations are not all black and white (no pun intended). They aren't mutually exclusive. You don't have to hate BLM and the fight for equality among poc in order to support your fellow gays (or your fellow white gays in this case).
