This. Like shut up and move on. Allowing gays on Christian mingle won't increase homophobia. It's always those gays who think they are different and edgy with the whole "this is pointless" rhetoric.

Think about the gay christians tho. It's already hard enough (for me at least) to find someone I'm interested in dating, let alone a gay guy in my area. Imagine how hard it is to find both and on top of that a devout Christian? I don't see what's wrong with being inclusive to others as long as their goal is to find a partner to help grow their relationship with God.

Oh so you are serious? Well if you're really looking for an answer, gays still endure a lot of struggles on a daily basis.

• Anti-gay bullying and violence

• Lack of LGBT representation in the media, especially children's programming

• Discrimination laws in many states not protecting gays from being fired or from not being hired due to their sexuality

• Prevalence of casual homophobic slurs like "f*ggot" and "that's so gay"

• Legality of programs that encourage praying the gay away or administer shock therapy to attempt to make gay people straight

• Followers of many major religions protesting against homosexuality while doing a million other things that the religious texts prohibit

• Conservatives still trying to dismantle the same-sex marriage ruling

• The high rate of depression and suicide in the LGBT community

• Parents disowning their gay kids, leading to a high rate of LGBT homelessness

• Homosexuality being framed as a choice even though no one in their right mind would choose to be ostracized by society if they actually are straight

If anyone knows mormons this is gonna cause a revolt

Oh please. You don't know me. I've supported and will continue to support virtually all aspects of the LGBT movement. I just don't think the advantages of this particular action outweigh the negatives. This case doesn't occur in a vacuum. It affects a lot of people's views on the LGBT movement. I'm looking at the big picture, and in my opinion, forcing Christian dating websites to include gay dating options (even if it is the right thing to do) hurts the community more than it helps us.
