I kind of agree, she looked great during that year. There was a nice little period from September to November that was especially nice. It must have been The Countess and Tom Ford's influence rubbing off on her.

But there's honestly nothing wrong with making a song with a DJ? It's only now that Gaga thinks she's above it. I love her, but I think during the start of BTW she had a massive ego (which I guess was inescapable because she basically ruled the world) and she never expected to underperform/flop. I loved how she used to say 'pop music will never be low brow'. She loved pop music, and understood the art behind it, like using auto tune as an instrument, or creating catchy pop songs with a subtext. I feel like now she thinks pop music is just vapid, which is sad. I could obviously be wrong, but that's the impression i've interpreted from the past 2 years, and that's why i'm anxious to hear the album to see where she's going.

This.
She's kind of a sore loser tbh, the way she "rejected" pop music during the ARTPOP era acting like Applause, DWUW, G.U.Y. weren't meant to be pop songs...
I'm glad we are over that time tbh.

It's the concept that she should or rather needs to run to Dj's for a quick hit single to satisfy people, that's the issue. She isn't above that, she never has been. I mean, she did work with Zedd and Madeon. But at the same time, she needs to prove she can do the great pop music without the electronics, without the DJ cred, and then she can go back to doing whatever the **** she wants. It's really not that hard to understand. She's not going to stop doing pop music, she's just trying to prove herself. I am not against pop Gaga, and I would kill for another try at an electronic album, but right now her career is begging her to try something new. Give her the time, and at least the respect to see that she's for the moment in a different place and able to try something above what she's been doing the past 7 years of her career.
Also let's not act as if people on here don't come at other pop singers for doing pop, to the point of calling Katy, Rihanna and etc basic. It's her fans who think pop music is vapid, yet they subject themselves to listening to lady gaga who by indie, and other musical standards is on the same level as Katy pop music wise. (not talking about vocally or performance wise)

Some people still living in the TFM era acting as if she has to repeat herself over and over and can't evolve/grow up both musically and mentally. Y'all are so delusional. She's not acting as if she's above it. She's OVER it. Over vapid pop music and OVER her whiny fans. The sooner she loses some of you the better she'll be off. :0

Didn't she say that her art is fame? She is basically stepping over everything she said in the past and I wouldn't be surprised if she did all of that with lg5 after a while

Bitch, where the **** is she supposed to get the ****ing connection when she can't do **** atm.
She has no album to do promo with and she mostly connected with us when she met us before entering whatever studio is interviewing her at the time or on tour speaking to us.
She's trying to stay home, in the studio, to finish the ****ing album of the millenium, OKAY?!
She has no time for us peasants at the moment.
Be ****ing patient, you'll be able to squeeze her **** again once she runs through the GMA doors to do an interview for LG5.

You guys get so upset about each other's posts as if you're Gaga herself.

I always see weird confusing posts like this about Gaga. Do you even know what you mean by this or is it just an emotional reaction? People will do a whole psychoanalysis based on a snippet of something she said 7 years ago as if anyone would be the exact same person and think the exact same things about everything almost a decade later, especially with that life. These "fans" or haters or whatever they are (most people on here seem like an avid mix of the two) make no sense... No one really gets that deep into the other girls. It just feels like everyone's issue with Gaga is more personal, like even the ones who dislike her still pay attention to every little thing she does and force themselves to create a negative opinion about it. Like, has anyone wondered why she has this reputation on ATRL for being a mean, deceitful, calculating, evil person? It's like everything she says and does has an ulterior motive when in reality she's one of the nicest, most down to earth singers (literally EVERYONE who has met her says this) and one of the main ones who actually goes out and tries to inspire change in the world instead of selling perfume and buying streams to further her brand. Hasn't cared about pop music for years, yet is the most success-obsessed, chart-hungry monster?
Sometimes I think the aftermath of TFM and BTW's success still hasn't settled, like it's been 5 years since she was THE LADY GAGA and we're still just collectively not over it.

Thank god she is staying away from her fans. They are one of the reasons for her downfall. She needs to think globally now and focus on the majority of people who buy her music.

What if she designs her physical albums like a cookbook
What if each copy comes with a slice of carrot from her own farm

I love the first one the most
Obviously all of her years had high fashion but 2015 had the least missteps imo

Gaga is in the same league as Katy Perry, Rihanna or Britney Spears in a way because they are all VERY VERY VERY successful ladies, that's all. Gaga makes art, she's passionated, do you think Rihanna, Katy or Britney could ever write (or release since they mostly don't write their songs) something like Aura or Teeth? No because that's not basic pop music.
