It's really unsettling seeing how many people excuse that type of behavior here. I know some do it to be "edgy" as a part of their gimmick but it's extremely offensive, especially considering the amount of us here who've been abused.

It does, unfortunately the show has some of the worst acting I've ever seen on a primetime series (not the gays tho, they're great); and the overall adaptation from the books has been lackluster at best. The network is overhauling the series for season 2 so hopefully it'll be better.

Like okay, I understand he's getting older and will soon pass away which will be very sad, but she brings this up at least once every couple of weeks... The thing is she also keeps saying it until you've responded, if you pretend you can't hear her or just straight up ignore her, she'll repeat and repeat and repeat.
