All the threads I see are "post this about your fav" "does your fave have a #1 single?" "What's your favorite song from your fav" "best song from your fav's last album?" Etc. and like I feel like this website almost forces you to have a fav. Am I not allowed to just enjoy the music regardless of the artist? Why do we need fav's anyway? What if I don't have a fav? What am I supposed to do? Because I don't really have a fav, but like if I were to call someone my fav, then my fav changes like every week, so I'm sitting here not knowing what to do

I don't really do favs. So I never post in those threads. No one is worthy enough to "stan" for or obsess over.

Just pick someone you're feeling that day if it bothers you that much (and it clearly is since you made a thread on it)

i dont really have faves, my sig has changed constantly. i usually just list 3-5 artists i love right now

I don't think you should take the word "favs " so literal.
It's just shorter than something like "what's the best song the musician you really love more than other musicians has?"

For example I answer for Gaga & Lana, because yeah, I stan them and their my favs.
But if there wouldn't be any favs I'd just pick an artist/record I like at that moment and name a song from that album....
It's not that deep.
