I feel so bad for this lady. Glad that the police are dealing with this matter and taking it seriously. I'm grateful that in the UK, the police actually care about racist hate crimes rather than in countries such as the US where the police are actually the ones committing those acts.
This breaks my heart this lady couldn't be anymore selfless. The way she's saying how she just didn't think her attack was important because the police have more 'important' stuff to deal with, really makes me sad. She seems really lovely and genuine and it's sad she faced horrible abuse in public like that. And it's shocking because it breaks my heart people walked past and didn't do anything but she kind of sympathises with it by saying, 'they just didn't know what to do...' Bless this woman I have a lot of respect for her
Out of curiosity, and please put warning tags, what's the 'P' derogatory word that was directed to the Asian student?
Paki, a slur originally used and meant to be towards people from Pakistan living in Britain, however it is generally used incorrectly as a slur to a large majority of Asian people who are simply brown looking (rather than more Chinese or Japanese looking)
She reported it and it's exactly what everyone should do regardless of your race. If you see someone being bullied, harassed and publicly hated on solely because of their skin color do us all a favor and just record/report it. This lady is a champ. I wouldn't be able to compose myself like she did.
