Trump's anti-Semitism destroys him; Paul Ryan slams Trump
Trump sparks firestorm with anti-Clinton tweet featuring Jewish Star of David

Quote:
Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump drew widespread rebuke on Saturday with a tweet featuring a Star of David while accusing rival Hillary Clinton of corruption.
The star, a symbol of Judaism, was on a backdrop of $100 bills and paired with a Fox News poll in which a majority of respondents described Clinton as corrupt. Next to Clinton’s face was a red Star of David bearing the words “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!”
Trump later posted a version of the tweet with a circle instead of the Star of David. He then deleted the original tweet. The attack’s apparent anti-Semitic imagery prompted backlash on Twitter.

Trump's Star of David image first appeared on neo-Nazi message board

Donald Trump's Jewish Star of David image — which critics called anti-Semitic — was taken from an online neo-Nazi message board.
The graphic tweeted by the presumptive Republican nominee on Saturday was previously featured on a message board for the alt-right, “a digital movement of neo-Nazis, anti-Semites, and white supremacists.”

Donald Trump blamed the media over his use of a six-pointed star in a tweet attacking rival Hillary Clinton.

Update #3:
Paul Ryan, Trump's own supporter, slams Donald Trump's anti-Semitic "star" tweet
Quote:
U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan on Tuesday sharply criticized Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's Twitter post depicting Democratic rival Hillary Clinton against a backdrop of cash and a Star of David, saying anti-Semitic images have "no place in a presidential campaign."
"Candidates should know that," Ryan, the highest-ranking elected Republican, said in an interview with radio station WTMJ in Milwaukee, two days before Trump was due to meet House and Senate Republicans in Washington.
Ryan's comments came a day after Trump defended the tweet.
Republican leaders were criticized in the U.S. media for not speaking out forcefully against the image attacking Clinton, which appeared over the U.S. Independence Day holiday weekend.
"If I had to stop everything and comment to a ridiculous tweet sent out by this (Trump) campaign, I'd have no time for anything else," said Ryan.
