Why is Pokemon so liked in the LGBT community?
Yeah, so like the question says. Why?
On forums like this and other forums I've been on which have a large portion of LGBT members, Pokémon is always the most discussed game. Down to the characters, storylines and whatever.
Who plays Pokémon in 2016 though??? That game is so 2005.

Because, it's iconic. Everyone can play it. It's extremely user friendly, etc. It's just a very well rounded franchise.

It's probably just the childhood game of the dominant age group of ATRL
If you went to a forum with a much younger demographic, Minecraft would be most popular and Mario among older demographics.

I personally loved the Anime series when I was younger + watched the movies. Not a
huge
fan though.
And I don't play the game since I don't own a Nintendo
