Not to sound arrogant, but I'm pretty sure KPop stans have a much more diverse taste from what I've seen.
As a whole non-Kpop fans seem to have the idea that ALL K-pop fans stan for ALL K-pop acts and releases indiscriminately where we all know that isn't the case. Like we know one person could stan for 2NE1 and SHINee and hate T-ARA while another likes SHINee and T-ARA but hates 2NE1.
The funny thing is each time they make a thread you can bet their least desired outcome has come true: at least one person with no previous interest in the scene clicks one of the videos and actually LIKES what they hear. Give it a year, the Kpop fans will only increase as you don't have to give up one artist to get into it, something most stans think is a serious issue or w/e.
------
Things I've listened to other than K-Pop this week!
The Yearning
The Shangri-Las
Swans
Angels of Light
Current 93
This Mortal Coil
New Order
CSS
Carly Rae Jepsen
Rich White Ladies
Cupcakke
La Roux
Hmmm I should open up a thread and lord this over people who don't listen to more than X amount of artists from different genres, since that seems to be the in thing or w/e
nnn I listened to:
Ai Otsuka
Madonna
FEMM
Beyonce
Blood Orange
Selena Gomez
Alicia Keys
Brooke Candy
Ariana Grande
Tinashe
Black Eyed Peas
Koda Kumi
Charisma.com
Ciara
Fergie
Anderson Paak
EMI MARIA
FAKY
E-Girls
The Internet
And I'm pretty sure even the a-pop fans on atrl didn't listen to some of the westren artists in my list

Ooh I listened to Brooke Candy this week too, quite liked Opulence and Pop Rock. I think she may have inspired Grace, the new Kpop artist that debuted this year

After seeing Chungha's video of herself dancing to Opulence I got hooked to her EP again
