They hate her because they're bitter that they kept her drag queen song "Bad Romance" away from the #1 spot and because she broke her record for most downloaded pop song. They see Kesha as a threat to Lady Gaga's career and as if she's stealing her spotlight or something.

ESOM kept "Bad Romance" away from #1. And the video for it got over 100 million views so if youtube was added to streaming then BR would have easily gone #1. And we don't see Ke$ha as a threat AT ALL. She's just a tick with no buzz whatsoever.
^Just like in the Hot 100 thread, you guys can keep you IFs. Fact remains, Ke$ha kicked that ass in the Billboard system than has been the same FOREVER. Can't change just because GaGa can't outdo a new artist.
Ke$ha is a threat. If you don't see that, you're delusional. "Tik Tok" already broke 2 huge records previously held by GaGa in 2 weeks. Her album is selling great, with many hits lined up to keep it selling without the help of a "second album/ep/re-release".
I would say Ke$ha makes catchy music, and I do listen to her album, but honestly she can never be as good as GaGa because ...
1) she doesn't have a good voice
2) her performance skills suck
3) she has no creativity
4) she looks like a drunken cheap white trash
so to sum this up Ke$ha is NOT a threat to GaGa .. they both can still make music and sell. It's true Ke$ha needs to step up her game if she ever wants to be as popular as GaGa .. coz as of now not many people know her !!
and once she accomplishes what GaGa has done in less than two years .. then we'll talk !!
"Animal" is great, my fave album atm. But she doesn't sem like she'll have any longevity to even be around to see next year. I sorta feel the same about Gaga only because I think her image might die out and people might be over it (not because of the music) and move on to the next big thing. I may be wrong though. Still love them both.
I Like Ke$ha's style. She's a new artist and she's doing really great. I appreciate the fact she doesn't need to wear weird clothes, glasses, wannabe-blood ketchup and so on to be successful. I like Ke$ha's better. Gaga has overall better music, though. (For me The Fame Monster > Animal) So I Like them both.
