I can't help but think that Gags is gonna have the same career trajectory that Xtina had, due to all this delay.
Her Bionic is coming.
"delay" had nothing to do with xtina's career trajectory. it had more to do with the fact that she was never the it girl and was always overshadowed by britney.
Just found out they took the Bowie tribute down
I'm MAD. I never downloaded it thinking I could always have it on her channel.
The same happened with the TIHTY Oscars performance

Just like how Le Gags has been overshadowed by Katy since 2013z
WAIT, if we wanna talk about GOOD promo, let's talk about performing the National Anthem at Hillary Clinton's inauguration.

In 2013, maybe, but Gaga didn't fall by the wayside like Xtina. The whole reason Katy was even talked about was because she "beat Gaga". Gaga still got ha attention.
i mean, she doesn't have to do something big every month. even if she did something every month, it wouldn't really matter. people aren't going to pay attention either way until the lead is released and the hype machine kicks in.
and tbh, i don't think the album needs to be commercially successful. i think more than anything it needs to be critically successful. she has a lot to prove after everything she's done since 2013. a well-received album would probably do more than a commercially successful one, as weird as that sounds.
Long ass gaps between albums is like a death sentence for female popstars.
History has proven again and again that it just doesn't work. Whether you're young, super talented, have a huge fanbase etc.....you will flop to oblivion if you release an album every 3 - 4 years. (Adele is obviously an exception)
I personally feel that Gaga is in a very tricky place....she's still young and has a huge fanbase to support her BUT if she does not release a full fledged pop album soon...withing like a 4 or 5 months...I'm afraid she's going to lose a lot of steam and that will be the end of it.
I just remembered that even Beyonce has released two albums since ARTPOP came out and has gone on two world tours.
I mean yeah, in the meantime Gaga also released C2C but that doesn't count as a pop album (which is what she needs to release to maintain her place) and did AHS but still pop music what most people want from her.
lady gaga's career is not going to end or suffer if she doesn't release an album when her impatient fans want her to. the only thing that will affect her career is if she puts out an album and it's commercially AND critically panned. as long as it's one of those two things, she'll be fine.
lady gaga is not meghan trainor or ariana grande or demi lovato. she is an acclaimed, established artist.

This is fan fiction. Christina has always been known for her talent.
