im not gonna argue bc I think they're on the same level actually, only thing Bey beats Brandy in is sheer power. They're about even on everything else, except Runs which Brandy takes.
I love Beyoncé and all, and Lemonade is my favorite album of 2016 thus far, but no. Kelly Clarkson, from just Beyoncé's own generation, is better. Beyoncé's biggest problem is she doesn't present herself as a vocalist anymore (which is unfortunate because Love On Top and I Care from 4 are incredible vocal performances). Like I said, I LOVE Lemonade, but I would never think of it as an album I go to if I want vocals. I will go to http://www.kellyclarksonlive.com for that. Beyoncé is now a visual performing artist more than she is a vocalist, in my eyes.
Kelly, Leona, and Jennifer are all in the same tier as Beyoncé, but they all present themselves as vocalists. Also, I just prefer Kelly's voice and I think she has a more diverse vocal skill set.
Your username shows that you are biased and it's ok since she is your fave
But how can you say she is better than Gaga and Kelly? Like come on....there are limits to how off we should let our perception to be
Um because she's a way better vocalist than Both Gaga & Kelly?
You also see my username has Rihanna in it and I haven't said she's better than Bey, Gaga or Kelly, so this argument is null and void.

I agree that many of you might find the OP to be a reach but what you just said is a bigger reach. *inserts your useful username*
Go to your closest music school in town and I guarantee you you will find at least 10 female vocalists that are better than Beyoncé. The huge delusion.

So since Bey doesn't present herself as a vocalist that means she isn't one
The only thing Kelly is better at Beyonce in is upper 5th octave belting and it ends there.
Certainly. Every other act is boring and extremely predictable. Beyoncé tackles different genres and easily delves into various singing techniques with ease.

Exactly, Like Beyonce is a performer more than she's a vocalist, Currently she's doing her tour and she hasn't brought anything amazing in terms of vocals or at least ones that can top some vocal moments from the I Am Tour\Jennifer's recent performances\Kelly's recent performances.

You mean because they belt all the time? Beyoncé's vocals are insane, her lower range is is dark and she can remain control there, her consistency is unmatched, her breath control is insane and her agility/runs are stellar. Don't even get me started on her musicianship.
Beyoncé absolutely presents herself as a vocalist to the trained ear. Being able to belt doesn't make you a vocalist, it's how you utilise your voice. Beyoncé has mastered her voice which is why a bad vocal from her is practically non existent.

Kelly Clarkson has moderate placement issues to be considered an excellent vocalist and her agility and dynamics pale way too much in comparison to Beyoncé's. Her scales are much more uneven as well, including underdeveloped low chest and head voices.

You mean... She doesn't Belt as much any more. Beyoncé has already proven herself & doesn't need to constantly Belt unlike these others to prove that she is a vocalist. She can impress without it. The others can't.
