I've been wondering this myself too, I don't get it

A lot of people are overly critical of everything LP does because they want them to keep releasing the same music over and over. Linkin Park does try something new every album, and they don't like that.

So many people keep saying they want another Meteora/Hybrid Theory. That would get boring real fast.
