On May 20, Ariana Grande released her third studio album Dangerous Woman. It's a great album, had good first week sales, and the singles performed decently. But is the era boring/flopping?
In my opinion, I feel like this era has recently been really boring and it almost feels like Ariana just released an album and then went into hiding. Post your opinion down below.

Yeah I suppose. It was exciting seeing her sing Dangerous Woman and Be Alright on SNL (?) and release a song every day until the album's release, but the album's presence is nowhere near My Everything.

Yes can't believe the era is already dead after a month. I was rooting for her to be a main pop girl.

No, it is not. Into You is just taking off because it got added to radio yesterday in the US, and it is already everywhere in Australia. And DW was a huge steady hit. She's fine.

The album should be eligible for Gold. It'll rather easily hit Platinum by the end of the year with two or so more hits.

Still a decline from ME, but definitely not a flop.

Doing a Beyonce without being a "Beyonce"(huge name) is bound to fail. She should do the promo on tv shows, vids, spotify etc.

It's definitely a much quieter era than My Everything but I wouldn't say flopping. I'd say her last era felt so big because she was getting the best promo of any pop star – Scooter put her on every TV show he could, which in hindsight might not have been the best game plan because she wasn't big enough music-wise to have that level of exposure yet.

the popstar exposure was basically what got her 5 WW top 10 hits from one album though...

Artists always lay low after promo week, she had a jam packed promotion schedule for the album in May. The mistake that was made was releasing Into You as the second single when it should’ve been Sometimes. Either way the album is amazing and her sound continues to grow and evolve

It's not flopping but it's way less impressive than what it deserves to be.

I mean it's selling fine worldwide, but I wish this era were more exciting. Ariana just dropped an album and disappeared from the limelight. All she does is sit at home with her dogs. I honestly don't even think she wants to be a pop star.

It kind of is right now, but it'll have longevity hopefully.
