@ OP, being black doesn't give u the clout to dismiss cultural appropriation especially when it happens to dozens of hundreds of other culture groups on a daily basis

the problem is a lack of education mixed with an eagerness for some people, particularly young people, to jump on this bandwagon of 'oh well everything is cultural appropriation'; no, it's really not. an intelligent person is able to discern when the culture is being celebrated and embraced by a person outside of the cultural group, and when it's being exploited for profit or (white) attribution....... but y'all are lazy and just go for the lowest hanging fruit of 'don't even think about mentioning the other culture unless ur apart of it'

Yes, we do. Maybe not YOU. We even see them get up in arms when colleges are hosting racist parties with white students making of of Mexicans and cholo culture. Stop trying to make it seem like Latinos don't get mad about being disrespected. Laughable.

The world came to be from giving and taking from other cultures, NO ONE should be excluded from learning and trying things of different cultures.
