While shooting the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock at age 15, she feared she’d be the next Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan, whose tabloid-friendly downward spirals were happening at the same time.
“Making Camp Rock, I was definitely like, ‘Oh crap. In three years, that’s going to be me,’” she said.
“I lived fast and I was going to die young,” she said. “I didn’t think I would make it to 21.”
