I went to a Family Reunion and haven't seen anybody for a LONG time. I saw my Step Mom and she was like "OMG!!!!!!! YOU GOT SO SKINNY! ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE NOT SICK? "
She's overweight by the way, but she tells me I look sick....I didn't say anything back to her. I killed her with kindness (on iTunes now! )

My favorite is when I refuse to eat any meat or cake they offer me. And they get offended lol

It's a thing. Obviously not as bad or big of a deal as fat-shaming since as being skinny is considered the beauty standard but it's a thing. I can't go to family events either without someone saying "Girl, you need to eat" or even worse in Jamaican, "how yuh suh mawga?! yuh madda not feeding yuh?"(why are you so skinny? is your mother not feeding you?
6'1 and 172 is skinny but pretty average, far from scrawny. I noticed she said "you GOT so skinny" though. Did you lose a lot of weight? That's not skinny shaming, that's concern over weight loss which can be a result of being sick. Just saying, context is key.
"Shamed" - not really. But when I was in high school a friend of mine would always make comments about how I was anorexic (I wasn't THAT skinny nor did I actually have an ED) and should eat a sandwich.

don't be sensitive. There are actual people that are skinny shamed constantly because of their fast metabolism and can't do anything about it.

I've been skinny shamed before and it made me feel horrible (im quite thin and know I should gain some weight.) It's never been by far people though, always by people that are in shape. And it wasn't something where they were trying to help or encourage me, they were just being outright rude
