Former Neon Jungle singer Jessica Plummer is set to be a first-time mum.

The 23-year-old and her longtime beau Jaz are preparing for parenthood and Jessica took to Twitter on Saturday (25Jun16) to reveal the news.
She posted a photo in which she is showing off her growing belly in a selfie, and later tweeted her gratitude for her followers' well wishes.

"THANK YOU honestly means the world," she wrote. "Jaz and I are over the moon. Couldn't be happier to be starting a family with my childhood sweetheart."

The baby news comes nearly a year after she and her fellow bandmates, Shereen Cutkelvin, Asami Zdrenka, and Amira McCarthy decided to call it quits last July (15).

Months after their split, Jessica lined up a high-profile acting gig in romantic comedy How To Talk to Girls at Parties. The John Cameron Mitchell-directed film stars Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, Ruth Wilson and Matt Lucas, among others.

Congrats to Jess. She disappeared from social media several months ago and told fans she would return in August. So I guess that's the due date/month.

Meanwhile, I had always hoped they would pull a GRL and reunite, but now this looks highly unlikely, impossible even. But at least they still hang together (split down the middle though Jess/Amira and Asami/Shereen).
