I don't think anyone is born into sexualty genitically, but i think some people realise it earlier than others.Like their was a time in my life when i was 100% sure i was straight, i never even thought i was gay. I was disgusted by gays and then God was like YOU THOUGHT BIH

I know studies have been done to show a link of people being gay in family, but that's baseless because it implies that you can't have more than one gay in a family by chance....

Also it begs the question of bisexuality etc etc. I think society programmes you to think you're straight and you discover hmmmm, no i'm not. Where that comes from, i don't know.

Probably somewhere in the middle between nature and nurture, and sexuality is also fluid for some people. It's not like someone who is straight "choosing" to be gay, unless its juts a mentally forced attraction, or relations and sex without any real innate attraction. Thats why its so cringey when gay people are like "I chose to be gay", because they are using "choose" differently than most people; either that or #brainwashed.

It's hard to be definitive, all of the studies and evidence and personal testimony seems to point at it being a trait that can manifest, but may or may not due to environmental influences... but even that's a sometimes, as plenty of people are raised in environments that totally discourage homosexuality but "end up" gay anyway

No one is born anything, but then again you don't choose either. You aren't straight, gay, bi, etc right out of the womb. Your attraction to whichever gender(s) starts at puberty when you begin to sexually mature. It's a predisposition.

As sexual attraction is mostly an instictive factor. It's most likely that it is determined during pregnancy at the very same moment that the sex of the fetus is designed. There might be other enviromental factors but these won't be major in determining one's sexuality. Like fetishes and most cases of bisexuality, for example.
