Indeed, but it won't happen unless they either get a bigger push from their label/management or they start dabbling in pop music.
That's how Nicki was able to become huge - make pop songs, lie about her sexuality as a way to sell records.
Nicki does have the power though to give some of the female rappers a lift by collaborating with them, paying more interest in them e.g. promoting their albums/singles on social media just like how the male hip hop rappers do. She won't do it though because she probably doesn't want competition. Her "Queen of Rap" status needs to stay intact.
