Omg. I had a trial when I was 16 - it was at a really posh restaurant, and like, I had no idea what I was doing.. They were so professional and I was like
Anyway, a group of people were out celebrating a birthday (it was a really busy Saturday night) and I needed to carry a tray of two glasses of wine over to their table. So I pick up the tray of the side after the guy behind the bar gives it me, AND BECAUSE THE TWO WINE GLASSES WERE NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRAY (therefore unbalanced) WHEN I TOOK THE FIRST ONE OFF, THE SECOND ONE FELL ALL OVER THIS GUYS HAIR AND BACK ahh: HE WAS WEARING A WHITE SHIRT AS WELL. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO, and I wanted the ground to swallow me up tbh as the manager was there looking at me like she wanted to kill me.
I told him I'd be back in a minute and would grab him a towel, so I ran out back of the restaurant, but I took my apron and tie off, slipped out the backdoor and ran up the road laughing to myself

I didn't get the job.
So no, I won't wait tables ever again and my tip to you will be to push glasses of wine into the centre of a tray and don't attempt to defy physics
