You know, sometimes, it's okay for people to have an opinion that is opposed to yours without getting labeled at 'haters' - you're not necessarily a hater if you don't enjoy a video, a performance, a Carpool Karaoke session, etc.
I myself didn't think it was that bad at all, and I laughed at many segments throughout the video, but I just don't think it makes sense to label all of these critics as "haters", especially since these types of YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and ATRL comments are virtually little to nonexistent on other Carpool Karaoke versions.
You're right, the video went incredibly viral and a good chunk of people, including myself, seemed to have enjoyed it. But that doesn't mean that all of the ones flocking in to criticize her voice, alleged lack of personality/character are instantly 'haters' triggered by Selena, it's just not true, she's simply not the controversial-force-who-will-receive-hate-no-matter-what individual you make her seem like. Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Iggy Azalea and many other artists who are far more negatively-controversial than she is didn't seem to have triggered such grill for their vocals, and that's because people overwhelmingly thought they
are good singers who did well on their segments. It's just the truth.
