Now I release to you the unreleased album I composed when I was sixteen, now titled, “Waited To Exhale” Enjoy, I love you all for your support during those years even though I let so many of you down. It was so hard for me to fight through my anxiety and my depression but God put me through it so I can tell you! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF BECAUSE THATS ALL THAT IS STOPPING YOU! You must believe in the dark so when the light comes on everything is seen clearly.
I don't mind the dated 2009 sound, it makes me miss that era of music and feel nostalgic despite all these songs being new if that makes sense.
Some weird middle ground between feeling like I've heard the songs before and appreciating that they're brand new. I'll probably listen to this a lot, I appreciate it for what it is.
she looks so crusty on this cover. i mean i know it's not an actual cover but come on girl.
anyway i listened and there's some cute tracks. mostly the R&B stuff. the dance tracks are of the lowest quality i wonder how this was recorded with a label.
her best project remains self-titled mixtape. she was serving BRANDY on that one.
Is it really that bad? When she was with Interscope I was looking forward to this album, The One You Call was my jam.
I wouldn't say that it's bad so to speak but the songs sound extremely dated and not fresh. You can tell that these were definitely meant to be put out in 2010.
Does she have any good album? I don't know her discography. I could try to get into her.
She only has one album and it's her debut from when she was like 14. But she's released two mixtapes and one of them is self-titled and actually really solid! I'd recommend that one.
