How many of you ever used a linux distro/s before (Android doesn't count) and what were your experiences with it.

Used, wasn't for me.

I study computing at university and we HAVE to use Linux...
However, I will not be converting at home anytime soon

Tried out a few for fun. They are cool.

I used Ubuntu as a second operating system alongside Windows. It was a nightmare experience for me to install something. I needed to use like 10 commands for a simple program that in Windows I could easily 'Next, next' . The other problems are with the drivers, lack of games and software, crappy cheap looking integrated apps.
But... if you use it for social media and for watching movies and doing some basic university projects/presentations then you can go with it.

I bought an old laptop without an OS once and installed Ubutnu on it and I honestly liked it, it was easy, clean and exactly what I needed at that moment. Now Windows is more useful to me cuz I can install things like Photoshop and After Effects on it more easily.

I used Ubuntu when I worked in IT in high school. It's better than Windows, but I will stick with macOS.
