I don't think anyone is really trying to place the blame on Beyonce in this situation, so I don't know why her stans are getting defensive. However, the fact remains that the items of clothing in question are very similar and that it is very possible that the person who designed Beyonce's outfit did intentionally copy some of the elements from the original garment for his own, therefore a infringement lawsuit is not entirely out of the question. Don't act oblivious to the situation and offer up excuses like "so you aren't allowed to wear a swimsuit in a video without copyright lawsuit," because that's obviously not the point of the suit. Furthermore, we can guarantee that if it were any other artist, every Beyonce fan would storm the thread to accuse that person of copying.
