Insanity or being unhinged doesn't make you less of an artist you guys. The best artists in history have produced their best pieces often after having gone off the deep end. I'm talking Van Gogh, Edvard Munch, Goya, Georgia O’Keefe, and possibly Michaelangelo, etc.

And Kanye can hardly be considered crazy just for making a video with nude people in it.

Did anybody even look at his facial expression in the background? Did that look like someone battling with psychosis, depression, anxiety, etc. He looked like a happy man showing off his insane ideas and concepts about fame to the world.

You guys should take an Art Appreciation class if you're in college/uni or whatever. Go through the Renaissance period. There's waaaay more provocative images there than what you will see on Kanye's "Famous." You'll also observe that the way we are dissecting this simple "video of wax figures in a bed with ambient audio" is exactly what went on in those periods and eras that followed.

LOL I'm SAYIN!! The greatest artists of all time were mostly people battling mental and personality disorders. They all used art: painting, sculpture, mixed media, etc., as outlets. (Much like Kanye is probably doing). It was (and still is) a healthier alternative as well. Those artists didn't have access to modern healthcare we all have (antidepressants, anxiolytics, anti-psychotics, psychologists, etc.).

It's a shame most who are bashing and harshly critiquing on this thread are completely uneducated about art history and mental health/psychology. Both go hand-in-hand, lol.

I loved it. 'Art is subjective' and all I don't believe there's any real depth to be deciphered from it. It's pretty superficial imo but the point and perfectly fitting.

But I wanted to know who was and wasn't real. I assumed Kanye, Kim, Caitlyn and Amber were and I'd include Rih for obvious reasons but her ass just looked so OFF that it was a dead giveaway.

No matter, I like that it has me wondering. Purpose achieved.
