I've met some. Talked to one guy on OKC once and we chatted on the phone for a bit. But then I found out he loves Trump before we ever met in person and then some other questionable opinions that made me lose interest real quick. And he just generally seemed kind of air-headed/off and he gave me bipolar teas. Anyway glad I'm not dealing with him anymore.

no, i try to surround myself with positive people for the most part, though i think many, if not most, gays have small pieces of self loathing, conscious or not, due to the society we grow up in. obviously, it's on another level on atrl though and it's really sad.
My friend came out but didn't really talk about it and was always sneaking around having sex. It kind of ruined our friendship because our group of friends would travel away for the weekend and as soon as we got there he just wanted to go to the gay club and get drunk and hook up and disappear. We kind of got annoyed that he didn't seem to care about us anymore, and I think he got wind of that and cut us off. He just seemed to use sex to numb his insecurities about being gay.
