If you don't get one from someone in this thread (like Bloo) I stumbled upon this subreddit awhile back. I haven't used it, as I've had my perfect Ditto for a few years now, but it seems like they're just giving away perfect Dittos to users over there.

Well, yeah, initially it is very. Especially if you're starting off with no Pokémon (not counting Ditto) with more than 4-5 31 IVs.

Once you get rolling though (and thank Mew that there's an IV checker now; no need to do an IV calculator these days), it'll take barely couple of hours to have the team you want to EV train.

Dark and Ghost both slay and are like the second and third best types after Water. I'd get rid of Fairy since they shouldn't have been introduced at all

Oh sister, even if I snatch a Ditto I'm starting from approximately zero. I'd need to get everything - I don't even have a team in mind yet.

Yeah, they always have giveaways. That's how i obtained so many event legends and HP specific Ditto's and HP Fire Greninja & HP Ice Heliolisk.

Now Hidden Power. Ugh. Don't get me started on that.

It's one thing getting a perfect egg move/IV/natured Pokémon from breeding, but it's a whole other calamity trying to match all of that up with the right Hidden Power.

Worry not, my fellow Pokémonk. Even starting off from scratch won't take you that long. Just start off with the egg moves you want first. That part is the most time consuming part of breeding for a good team.

Tell me about it. I never bothered with HP. Way too much work. A lot of people buy Powersaves just to change the IV's to get a certain HP.

I feel like actually determining a good team to work toward will take longer. At least I have the usage and viability tiers to help with that, but I haven't built a competitive team in eight years and relearning parts of the metagame will take hella time.

Probably. I mean, you have to consider the egg moves, IVs, nature, ability and team role. Which doesn't apply to me all that much since I'm too busy to actually do competitive.

Fastest way to learn the meta is just by playing or watching, really. I mean, if you can learn by understanding the concept by reading Smogon's data spreads, that's cool but I find that it doesn't work for everyone.

Yah, a good way to is watch and then try and emulate what you see. Then, as you get more and more immersed, you'll find out and figure out things on your own.

I need a perfect ditto ugh, the other I was breeding a perfect Clefairy and when I finally got it I starting leveling up THE WRONG ONE it took 8 hours of my life.
