what does this UK mess mean for the shows and their grosses

Surely the bulk of the tickets would have been sold when the Pound was stronger, so it shouldn't make much difference? However I really have no idea how it works.

The majority of tickets were sold when the pound was stronger, and by the time the shows get reported it will have climbed again once the initial panic has worn off, so either way they report it it should be relatively back to normal

My friend used it when we went to the Baltimore show had absolutely no issues

That is gonna happen regardless, if not from this leg then from the leg she is inevitably going to add. The sooner you come to terms with this the better.

It's really not gonna have that much of an effect. It has dropped by a few p, which in economic terms is really bad but in terms of converting £ to $ for tour gross it's gonna be relatively unnoticeable. Not to mention that it should climb again in the coming days

But what if it doesn't climb much again or the $ keeps getting stronger...Is it a done deal or can 1989 tour keep its 4th spot? And it looks like there won't be any more dates to the FWT.. so maybe..

Why aren't the new dates known yet ..And if there were more dates shouldn't they be announced by now to gime them time to fill up? If there are more dates and are announced too late, the attendance/gross average will drop considerably..Mabe there won't be any new dates... #PrayFor1989Tour

lol again, it has fallen by a few pennies against the dollar, it may slightly decrease the gross but not by a lot. And these are only the UK shows, the rest of the shows are Euro's or other European currency not affected. It's not like the UK shows were the decider between outgrossing or not the 1989 tour
