let's just agree that this show probably has the best overall ensemble performance of any shows airing right now. Of course there are some weaker links but the stronger ones like Uzo, Piper, Red, Lolly etc. more than make up for the weaker actresses.
I think I once saw the actress playing Red walk past me in London but I was too shocked to actually make sense of it lol

I love those two, but OITNB's cast is better, especially given how large it is. Also, the characters are simply better in OITNB as compared to AHS. The only standout character in AHS, to me, is Lana Winters.

It's not. Her backstory isn't that great, just how she stole money and has a disconnected relationship with her wife and son. Other backstories are much more interesting
