What are your thoughts?

This is officially my second favourite movie of all time.

It was so gooooood. OMG. Words can't describe how amazing it was. Nothing can beat Avatar, so this is my second favourite movie of all time.

Mythology meets 21st Century. If there is one thing I grew up on, it was Xena and Hercules. I was critiquing the whole movie. A lot of the "villians" or "bad guys" were in the Hercules episodes (with a few from Xena) and I was like YOU GOTTA DO THIS TO DEFEAT IT!!!

It was so amazing, I went out after the movie to my nearest book store and got all 5 books in the series and going to read it. I bet you the book will be better than the movie, most will say this, but still, epic film. Up there near Avatar.

I am a big mythology Greek lover myself and grew up on Xena and Hercules as well, but I thought this movie was alright. Not great, but not bad. The book is definitely a good read though.

I swear people are giving Avatar WAY too much life. But anywho,im going to see Percy Jackson.

It has 49% in Rotten Tomatoes so your point is totally dismissed.

This is a real human being, they do that for publicity, money, whatever you want to call it. They are old and hairy and bald and like boring chick flicks.

Actually I apologize, I don't know how Rotten Tomatoes works. Maybe a bunch of users rate the movie. I don't know, so sorry. I just sometimes blurt out stuff without knowing anything.

Regardless though, with a site name "Rotten Tomatoes" how can you take it seriously?

Put it this way, if you are into Mythology, Sci-Fi, Harry Potter, Action, you'll love this film!

It had some pretty impressive CGI in it. Had some great comedy in it too!

Avatar is amazing, you have to be delusional to not think so!

Percy Jackson is aimed for a PG rating, yes, but wasn't Xena / Hercules PG rating also? I was baffled at the ratings for those shows, too much blood and sex in it. It should have been rated PG-13, if that's at all a possible rating for TV shows. But regardless, alas, the CGI and story was amazing in this film.

Of course, all these movies probably aren't EPIC or the BEST. But it's a first impression when you see them. When I watched Final Destination 4 again, at home, I didn't scream Best movie of all time again. It was just a good fan favourite.

I've seen Avatar 6 times and even on the 6th one, it was like a brand new experience. Will I see Percy Jackson 6 times, probably not, but I'm sure when it hit's Blu-Ray I'll be thinking it's a great watch.

To be honest, I can't even say there is such a thing as the best movie of all time. I have a lot of favourite movies out there. But Percy Jackson had the same impression on me as "Avatar" did unlike any other film. It's very unique. This proves that they could make an amazing Xena movie and make it look 21st, not very cheesey looking like the show.

But if you don't like the name, you can try Metacritic where it has a score of 48/100.

This movie is about Greek myths? and this seems to be for children!

Then I think Clash of the Titans will be betta Sam Worthington / Avatar
