The sad thing is that voters that are enraged may very well forget by the time the elections roll back around. Of course, there will probably be several more mass shootings by then to remind them.
92% of America want universal background checks. 87% support banning felons and mental illness patients from buying guns. 85% support banning terrorist suspects from buying guns (90% Republican, 85% Democrat) 54% want a ban on assult weapons/high ammo.
The NRA controls the Republican politicians. And Republican voters won't stop them because of their partisan ways. The economy and ending abortion is more important to them I guess.
