OT: He's right. If you're not willing to contribute anything to a relationship and are expecting your partner to always pay for you then you are not a very nice person regardless of gender.
No lies were told tho, anyway I have asked same question my friends, and they said they would never let man to pay for them, it would make them feel uncomfortable, unless it's a long relationship or it would be 50/50.
