Hi, i just made a Instagram, the only social media i was using before was just Facebook and twitter, I'm trying to figure out how to use this, what info do i need to give out for my friends to find me on Instagram?

i figured most of basics of this app out kinda.

and why am i seeing peoples messages i dont follow? mess at azalea banks shes having a melt down on Instagram.

No thats not what im asking, I googled this question and its only telling me how to find people. I want to be able to give someone info to find my Instagram

You mean tell them your username?

You could also link your account across other social media sites (like Facebook) and it will tell all of your friends with linked accounts that you've joined Instagram

If you link your facebook to your insta, the app can find your friends (who have linked their account to facebook) so you can follow them first instead of giving your username out for them to follow you.
