First of all, not every murderer is a bad person and even if we talk about the truly awful one's (serial killers, rapists, etc) even they should have human rights. Experimenting on someone like that is absolutely horrible and if that is approved, where does it stop? If we give the government the right to do that, we give them the right to do it to all of us.
So I was reading about Nazi human experimentation, and whilst it struck me that the methods used were obviously wrong, some of the data they gathered could be useful. The problem is that no one would consent to it. So should we do it to murderers? They've already lost their right to a normal life, and in some countries they're going to be killed anyway - wouldn't it make more sense to use them to gain useful medical knowledge?
Obviously theft and such isn't serious enough to justify this, but if someone is a murderer, I say why not. Karma tbh.
If they're a serial killer who obviously have no help for rehabilitation, their existence would go to greater good if they are experimented on.. like you know for researching a cure for an incurable disease like Cancer, AIDS, etc.
Like i'm for Death Penalty cause prisons are already getting overcrowded. But if their case is like soo disgusting (rape, pedophilia, murder), then being experimented on is an even better alternative
Karma is the universe doing the work not a human no one can conduct karma that's no longer karma and will result in the person getting bad karma. And no...Thats morally wrong since when should we look to NAZIS for anything...
No. Cruel and unusual punishment isn't and shouldn't be allowed anywhere on anyone. Also there is always a possibility the person was wrongly convicted so that would make it even worse.
I mean, just the fact your main argument is using the ****ing Nazi's as inspiration should give you pause.........
I don't think any decent human being would want to sink that low. It wouldn't make us any better than the murderers or nazi's if we'd treat them like things.
A better idea would be asking terminal patients for their consent to "experiment" on them in their last months of life.. (as long as the pain is not prolonged).
No, I am not here for torture.
But I do think murderers should be given life imprisonment, until they die of old age.
They've taken someone's one chance at life, I don't think they should get to enjoy their own
