I don't think videogames "create" serial killers, but they instigate those who are already sick. As they shouldn't be able to ger their hands at hands, they shouldn't be able to buy violent videogames neither

Video games don't create killers but it encourages people who are already likely to commit atrocities. It's a catalyst and definitely does have an affect on society. We shouldn't place the blame on games though there are much bigger problems going on in the world.

All I can say is that from my personal experience people who play violent games (where you shoot people, not magical creatures or something) tend to be more violent and agressive themselves. And my country has very strict gun laws.
