Britney Spears' latest single is reportedly delayed due to problems with the Toxic singer's voice.
Plans to release the 34-year-old singer's new track Make Me (Oooh) were postponed last month (May16), due to "techinical production difficulties" with no new date announced.
"The single has been a nightmare for everybody involved," a source tells the paper. "When it came down to the final version of the track, the label just didn't like her voice and the producers were struggling to make it work with the recordings they had."
The era lasted three years because that's how long the album and its singles continued to sell.
TD opened with 192k and has sold over 3M copies domestically, you cannot try to drag it for having longevity and not being front loaded.
Who cares if if was the top selling release from its year when it still sold well in 2010 AND every year after it.
IHype always misses the point when it comes to drake. Teenage dream sold 11 million albums with TEA, OOTB sold 5m+ with TEA, yet she was consistently berated as a singles artist. I'm doing the same with Drake.

No, you're literally missing the point.
Views is gonna sell 1.5M+ with 2 big hits. Even if you take away his streaming... an album selling 1.5M+ off of 2 hits in 2016 isn't bad.
Teenage Dream sold 3M with 8 big hits in 2010-2012.
Again... how is this a similar situation? Teenage Dream had barely passed 1.5M when it had 5 #1 hits.

So you do not agree that his longevity now is underwhelming. And you do not agree that his pure album sales are underwhelming compared to the level of radio and streaming play he sees?

His streaming more than compensate for his sales, he's selling like 2x+ more than the #2 album.

Outside of Urban/Rhythmic, he doesn't get big airplay at all. His sales and streams are more than fine for his overall airplay ratio.

And yeah, Rihanna makes plenty of $ from her music and branding.
The woman is beyond rich and to act like she's living paycheck to paycheck in cheap apartment living on food stamps, , "SHE NEEDS TO MAKE
MORE MONEY, or she is a FOOLL."
