2. What The World Needs Is Now Love

Please don't go #1. I usually like charity singles, but this is just...bad, probably because there's no big artists in this like there usually are, so that it can sound good. The lyrics are nice though, the world does need more love, if there was more love, Christina Grimmie would still be alive today.

Also, where's Chirstina Grimmie's charity single?

Christina Grimmie deserved to go #1 What happened to her was horrible, at the very least she should've gotten the attention that she deserves.

The fact the Christina Grimmie's singles still remain unnoticed besides being litteral perfection, yet this random song could go #1 on iTunes? And there's probably people in their singing that don't even believe in gay marriage. I never liked Broadway, I fell asleep during the Tony's, I just don't understand why they feel the need for it, when songs, movies, concerts, etc. all already exist and are much better. We don't need hem invading our pop charts. I was actually starting to liking a lot of the hits this summer.

Nicki is higher than Bruno, Katy and Pr!ncess on umich's list, for example, just because of the sheer number of singles she has put out.

But if you look at their track records, she isn't even in the same league.

I know it's X points, but it's not a straight scale from 0-100. Otherwise taylor would outrank katy on the hot 100 overall. They give alot more points for #1s, then #2s and so on. So it's very top heavy. Like two weeks at #50 is not equivalent to 1 week at #1. But it is according to that atrl thread.

By your logic, a singer who has released 3 singles in their career and 2 have became hits, is a bigger hit maker than someone who has released 30 singles in their career and 19 became hits, because they have a better ratio.

It's about the overall picture that counts, which is what a point system measures.

Drake had almost 25% more points than even #2. If you changed how the points were given, he'd still likely come out on top. It's a useful thread.

I know what you're saying, a singer having 10 hits out of 15 released singles is more impressive than a singer having 11 hits out of 30 released singles but at the end of the day having 11 hits > having 10 hits. Nobody takes ratio into hand period when comparing what artists have the most hits.
