I sort of believe in supernatural things, like witchcraft and voodoo. There's so many mysterious things that happen that we don't have logical, scientific explanations for and it makes me wonder.
oh boy, I never believed in witchcraft and stuff like that, until I got to know a guy 1 1/2 years ago. we first had a one night stand and kinda klicked with eachother, so we met again, and on our second date he told me, that he works with hypnose and witchcraft. first I thought he's talking ******** but the more I got to know him, the more I believed there gotta be something to it..
one day he told me, that he can receive information (like his/her persona and thoughts) on every person, he only needs the date of birth and the first name of that person. I wanted to test his powers so I asked him to explain the persona of my ex boyfriend. told him his first name and birth of date. the guy closed his eyes and described my ex 100% he even knew, that my ex had suicidal thoughts like 5 years ago.. a fact he never could've known on the regular.. I had ****ing shivers and couldn't believe what I experienced..
that experience wasn't the only one I had with him, so I definitely believe there's gotta be something we "normal" people don't see/understand.. relly creepy!

wow, that's awesome.
Humans and our abilities never cease to amaze me. I read a theory that said what if pills/medicine are actually nothing and it's our minds that actually heals us? Like, you drink a pill to get over a headache. Just because you think that pill is doing the work, you get better. What if the pills is just white nothing and you do all the work?
I truly believe our minds are VERY powerful but we don't know it yet, or we're not being told to use it to the highest of potentials.
Just think of dreams. our minds are capable of creating a whole UNIVERSE in our dreams. Some dreams feel so real it's insane.

There's a book my mom read and always wanted me to read that talks about how illness are a result of your own thoughts and the way you live your life. Like cancer can be a result of you being angry over something forever and you never let it go or stuff like that. Also how the mind is powerful and all kinds of stuff... I never read I dunno if she still has it.

That's so fascinating when you think about it. How powerful we can be. This is why the old tribes and people from thousands of years ago were so different from the now people. People didn't have things like genders and tumblr SJWs, and economy and money e.t.c to worry about so they focused on the human power and ability. This is why they were so ahead of us, they knew stuff about planets and alignments and they were so much more spiritual.
Now we have to worry about all these nonsense that I mentioned before and we kind of loose ourselves in the process and we can't dig as deep in ourselves to find those abilities.
I'm reading about The Mandela Effect and I don't really understand about it
I spent a day last week reading about it, and what it seems to be is that people are so stubborn they choose to believe that the universe has changed rather than just admit they were wrong about a small misquote or spelling mistake.
Take one of the more popular ones, Snow White. I'm pretty sure Mirror Mirror (or "Looking glass, looking glass") is used in the Brothers Grimm story whilst Magic Mirror is used in Disneys version, but no, of course it's different universes.
Great thread idea!
Madeline McCan is an example of a modern day one
Damn, i immediately searched google after you mention ha name, and just read a story about ha, it gives me goosebumps as to what the **** actually happened to the poor girl? Why didn't her twin siblings gets kidnapped too at the time she was missing, didn't the three of them sleep together?
Poor thing and her poor parents.
I don't think we will ever find that one out.
My guess would be she was kidnapped and murdered.
Hasn't it been like 9 or 10 years now? I would have thought the same too. Either she was killed or she has grown up and is now living under another identity.
But if she was living under another identity, surely there would have been a way she would have at least found out about what happened to her? Or if she was killed, a body would have been found? It's a very mysterious case.

There's a very similar case in Indonesia regarding the adopted daughter of a single parent there. One day, her step-mom said that her step daughter is missing and reported about it to the police, but then eventually it turns out that her step-mom actually killed her own step daughter, and buried her body in her own backyard. And she's getting lifetime prison sentence now.
Tbh i still had suspicions towards Madeleine's parents, especially because her mom (Katie) that refused to answer 48 questions from the police during investigations, and their persistence that wanted to find their daughter 'til this very day, that makes me suspicious too that it's for financial reasons because they got a lot of money from people who symphatized with them. Reading the articles online, the police's dog even found scent of corpse in McCan's rented car, and scent of blood on the back of the sofa at the room where Madeleine's last seen. I don't know what is the truth really is and i just hope that the poor girl can rest in peace
