Some of y'all just need the harsh realization that everyone in the industry peaks and declines. Peaks can be artificially extended for a while, but eventually all the girls decline, even the huge ones. It's just the circle of life.
(this reminds me how Gaga should do VA work for a Disney film eventually)
A hybrid can withstand these things. I'm putting Venus on the soup can as artistic rebellion through the potential of pop music, a reverse Warholian expedition
I love this performance. You can see in how happy she looks that she loves performing these two songs, especially during Poker Face.
artRave was literally a cringy ass mess
For someone as big her her, 6 years into her career, respected for her performance and voice skills to come up with something so cheap looking is beyond my understanding
The downgrade from the epicness of the BTWBT stadium tour, the amazing costumes worn even by dancers, to these inflatable cheap and stupid looking costumes is REAL ya'll.
It amazes me how I was still able to content myself with this crap back in the day considering the whole messy rollout of the ARTPOP era and then THIS tour
Literally, not even a damn WIG she wore during the shows looked good on her. Not even one outfit (besides the opening one) was good looking or interesting or anything.
I do understand the whole idea of this rave party, but for someone as big as her and for some tour that traveled trough 4 continents to look THIS cheap is not understandable.
She could have still used the idea of a big rave party and made something more serious and not so damn cheap looking.
The only PROs of the artrave:
- the lighting
- the catwalks
Let's just hope her creativity won't hit such a low point ever again when it comes to her next tours
I skipped artRave. Glad I skipped it too as my date ended up not having the see through walk ways, they were removed as the venue was too small so it was literally just a rectangle stage. Who know they could make it even more tragic / low budget.
Still, I enjoyed the cute artRave stream to officially end ARTPOP. That was fun.

As I think you are doing too much on the artRave, I agrih that it was a downgrade. On the other hand, I think it worked perfectly for the album.
Most of us were hardcore back in 2011 when reloading videos constantly and spamming votes for useless award shows meant everything to us. Now it's like, oh, the farmer's videos haven't crossed 100 million? Oh well.
That's true.

Gaga said her stage name "Gaga" came from Radio Ga Ga. Then she said the auto corrector change her name to Gaga. What is the truth?

YAWN.
It's not even worth refuting. The ridiculous amount of false statements and missing the point of artRave despite saying you did get what it was about...

ArtRave was what is was - an amazing tour. Just like her other tours. Even the first one deserves recognition.

So you agree that a rave show put up by one of the biggest pop stars in the world has to look cheap?
The artRave was fun. The setlist was awesome at the time (the only song off ARTPOP that i'd want to hear live again is Do What U Want) and the lighting was excellent. However, certain parts like Mary Jane Holland with those chairs.... what was she thinking? Also, some outfits did look unflattering on her.
I don't regret going but if i had the opportunity to replace that experience with her other tours I probably would consider it.
