I'm sorry to bring it back up, but I haven't been online much lately and only found out from that thread about Guernica... Just wanted to pay my respects in her favorite thread. She was a truly great person -- funny, friendly to everyone, and always so on-point with social issues of any sort. She will be missed
Slightly related but I recently talked with a guy who said that homosexuality is a mean of popular control in black people while being a factor in white genocide. So black people should also help stop white genocide because it affect them as well.
And I was like... homosexuality is treated poorly in the black community (since his interpretation rely on "the Left" so openly and giving more rights to LGBTQ) so that's not even close to being true.
Isn't it annoying how some people try to make everything about "the left" and "liberals"? They sound so damn ignorant
3 days ago I finished a book which told the story of a father who's looking for his son all over Europe. He met him in Madrid, in front of Picasso's "Guernica" - one of the most iconic paintings. I teared up in the bus.
thinking about starting a cassette collection cassettes are so cool. one good thing about them is that they sometimes come with lyric sleeves so you know what they're saying, like the blurryface cassette comes with lyrics (click the pictures to see). I think I'm going to get a deck and start off with culture club as my first cassette.
