I sure hope you're not a big Hilary stan, because these statements are terrible. Hilary loved Dignity. She spoke excessively about being able to write about her experiences and how she enjoyed the new "dance/pop" sound she was experimenting with. Not to mention it was a huge critical success in comparison to her older albums.

Another Dignity might not work, but that's why she can progress. Why would you wish for her to backtrack to the cheesy Pop of the early noughties. For that reason, and for the fact that that kind of music isn't big anymore. Seems like you don't want Hilary to grow up. Dignity IS Hilary. She got the control, and she showcased it.

"Any Other Day" also proves she wants to move in that type of direction. And I love it, can't wait for this!

Hilary was infatuated with the "Dignity" album, because of her control she had over it, the producers of her choosing, and it was reviewed quite favorably. I do expect some elements from "Dignity" to be in her new record, but I'm anxious to see what producers she'll be working with and how her sound will be.

YES. That's why I later told Duca I agreed with him about Dignity being Hilary's most personal album. I might not have expressed my opinion well with that statement, what I mean is that she was taken in another direction, the videos for PWF, With Love, Stranger and Reach Out were not that good IMO, the "sexy" side they tried to put in them was unnecessary and you can blame that plus the lack of promotion for the main reasons why she's a flop now.

She had it all, she could tour worldwide and pull out amazing sales even without a successful single and tough the stupid management by Hollywood Records, but then she tried to go dance and sexy and it all faded away just like that. I dont want Hilary to be another generic pop star.
