Y'all are so easy to please tbh. The episode was phenomenal yes, but it does not make up for the fact that we had 3 sh*tty episodes in a row to get this one.

omg you are so spoiled those 3 episodes were FAR from ******. And it's impossible for ANY show to deliver an amazing episode every time. Every episode this season was made as build-up for this episode. Is it THAT hard to understand??

Yeah, RW is one of the series' most iconic moments; if you were to ask the GP one scene that comes to mind that would probably be it. One of the first things people always mention casually about ASoIaF/GoT was when Ned got executed and the Red Wedding, as those are the series' establishing moments for what sets it apart from any other fantasy story -- cynicism, the lack of typical heroism, the fact that good guys can and will die, etc, it literally wouldn't be the same series if it weren't for those moments. Dany has some cute scenes, but shes mostly local to gays

Yeah, this. Some of those shots were so laughably bad from someone who hunts (or "hunts") regularly, it's obvious he was missing on purpose. Plus Sansa (the person who would know him best) was clearly correct when she said he would never allow a legitimate heir to live (see the episode where he did 3/4s of Sansa's work for her). Tbh, if I was in Rickon's place I would have just walked, all running in zigzags and jumping around would have done is serve to make everyone's last memory of him cowardly and undignified which is exactly what he was going for.

The Red Wedding is the most iconic thing in the show. the dragon Queen could never.

I think the most iconic moment is Neds death. No one (except the people who read the books) saw it coming (in any other tv show he would live and rule Westeros) but they just killed him and everyone realised that this show is not playing around and they're going to kill even peoples favorite characters.

Since I'm not a book reader, the Ned beheading took me by surprised..Killing one of the main characters of a popular house.. I knew GOT was something special.
