 Yeah, RW is one of the series' most iconic moments; if you were to ask the GP one scene that comes to mind that would probably be it. One of the first things people always mention casually about ASoIaF/GoT was when Ned got executed and the Red Wedding, as those are the series' establishing moments for what sets it apart from any other fantasy story -- cynicism, the lack of typical heroism, the fact that good guys can and will die, etc, it literally wouldn't be the same series if it weren't for those moments. Dany has some cute scenes, but shes mostly local to gays

 Yeah, this. Some of those shots were so laughably bad from someone who hunts (or "hunts") regularly, it's obvious he was missing on purpose. Plus Sansa (the person who would know him best) was clearly correct when she said he would never allow a legitimate heir to live (see the episode where he did 3/4s of Sansa's work for her). Tbh, if I was in Rickon's place I would have just walked, all running in zigzags and jumping around would have done is serve to make everyone's last memory of him cowardly and undignified which is exactly what he was going for.
